Our next Publisher Spotlight, we’re shining a light on Zyft, a partner built around one of the most critical moments in the customer journey: decision time. Zyft connects brands with high-intent shoppers who are actively comparing prices, researching options, and ready to buy. By delivering real-time, unbiased product comparisons across millions of products, Zyft helps retailers reach consumers when intent is at its highest ,driving incremental growth, efficient conversions, and smarter competition in an increasingly value-driven market.

We sat down with Richard Stevens, CEO at Zyft, to learn more about the platform, its audience, and how intent-led partnerships are shaping the future of performance marketing.

Richard Stevens, CEO at Zyft

For those who may not know you yet, can you tell us a bit about Zyft and how it started?

Zyft was built to solve one problem for retailers and shoppers alike: helping high-intent customers find great deals fast, and confidently click ‘buy’. Zyft is unique because we support the full shopping funnel - from discovery to purchase - but our real strength is targeting high-intent shoppers. Shoppers come to Zyft to research, compare, and ultimately decide where to buy. Because we compare prices in real-time across 140m products and 50,000+ retailers, our users are actively making purchase decisions. That means retailers aren’t just getting traffic.

They’re getting customers who are ready to convert, and often discovering new retailers along the way.

What problem does Zyft solve for brands, and how does your model help drive incremental growth?

Zyft helps brands win the moment that matters most, reaching high-intent shoppers while they’re actively comparing and ready to buy Zyft’s product comparisons are unbiased, delivering genuine value to retailers. We capture shoppers and convert that demand into purchases for retailers that best meet each shopper’s needs. This creates a level playing field where retailers compete on value and service to grow market share and sales as a result.

How do you typically work with brands and agencies like ND Agency? What does a strong partnership look like to you?

We collaborate really closely with ND Agency on onboarding, feed optimisation, and highlighting service features that improve conversion. Strong partnerships rely on open communication, clear goals, insights sharing, and ongoing testing.

Can you share an example of a successful activation or brand partnership you’re particularly proud of?

We’re particularly proud of our partnership with Appliances Online. Since activating on Zyft, the brand has seen a strong uplift in both customer engagement and purchase intent driven directly through the Zyft channel.

Most recently, we ran a Premium Placement activation which delivered exceptional week-on-week results:

  • 2,070% uplift in clicks

  • 200% uplift in conversions

  • 284% uplift in revenue

This performance highlights the strength of the Zyft audience. Our users are high-intent driven shoppers who actively seek out competitive pricing and genuine value at the point of purchase. By amplifying Appliances Online’s offer across Zyft’s Mobile App, Browser Extension, and Push Notification channels, we placed the brand directly in front of consumers at moments of high buying intent. This campaign is a strong example of how targeted Zyft activations can consistently drive meaningful, incremental performance for retail partners when aligned with compelling offers and strong pricing - results we see replicated across similar partner campaigns.

How are changing consumer behaviours and shifts in the affiliate landscape influencing how Zyft is evolving?

With ongoing cost-of-living pressures, Australian shoppers are more price-sensitive and deliberate than ever, comparing more, demanding transparency, and taking longer to decide before purchasing. At the same time, rising media costs, AI-driven discovery changes, and pressure from global marketplaces mean retailers need smarter, more efficient ways to reach high-intent consumers.

Zyft sits directly at this intersection. By delivering real-time product comparisons, unbiased rankings, and access to shoppers who are actively researching and ready to buy, we help retailers compete on genuine value rather than inflated media spend. As the landscape evolves, we’re also investing in solutions like Retail Media and Data Insights, giving brands deeper visibility into pricing competitiveness and shopper behaviour so they can make faster, more informed decisions and drive incremental growth.

What do you wish more brands understood about working with partners like you?

The most efficient growth comes from reaching shoppers who are already ready to buy, and Zyft delivers this in a cost-effective, unbiased way. When brands highlight their value (price, shipping, returns, ratings) and use intent-led channels like Zyft, small tweaks can create big uplifts in performance. Our Data Insights tool strengthens this even further, showing retailers exactly how their pricing and competitiveness impact click-share in real time. The brands that lean into these insights grow faster, more efficiently, and with far less wasted spend.

What advice would you share with brands joining ND Agency’s affiliate portfolio?

Our biggest advice to brands joining ND Agency’s affiliate portfolio is to treat affiliate partners as a strategic growth channel, not a passive one. The brands that see the strongest results are those that actively support the channel with clear commercial intent. That means competitive pricing, well-defined promotional windows, and a willingness to test differentiated placements or activations rather than relying solely on ‘always-on’ exposure. It is also critical to lean into data early. Use performance insights to understand where demand exists, which products convert best, and how different partners influence the customer journey. Brands that regularly review and optimise based on these signals tend to unlock incremental growth much faster.
